OUR LAKES
The main lake is one of the jewels of Essex. Approximately 26 acres in size and made up of bars, islands, back channels and reed beds; it truly is an anglers paradise! It holds specimen fish of almost all UK coarse species including carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch, pike, eels and catfish!
It boasts approximately 50 swims, with depths ranging from 2-10ft.
The Main Lake currently has 5 carp over 40lb, with around 25 x 30lb carp and numerous 20lb+ fish.
All of our lakes require a membership to fish, the main lake requiring a full membership with the outer lakes requiring an associate membership.
MAIN LAKE
At approximately 1.5 acres, the square is the perfect lake to get a bend in the rod with the chance of a carp over 20lb.
The lake has approximately 15 swims, some of which are doubles and are close to the carpark being ideal for disabled anglers.
The lake contains a multitude of species including carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch, pike and eels.
It is mostly a gravel bottom with the odd patch of silt and weed, meaning it is perfect to beginners to hone their craft of angling. All methods of fishing will produce fish.
The Square Lake requires a full or associate membership to fish.
SQUARE LAKE
The Tench Lake is approximately 1.5 acres in size and is a paradise for the pleasure angler. Boasting big beds of lily pads, small islands and bays, it is perfect for float, feeder or ledgering for its inhabitants.
The lake has carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and pike of specimen sizes.
The bottom consists of gravel, silt and weed and all methods of fishing can produce on their day.
The Tench Lake requires a full or associate membership to fish
TENCH LAKE
Known formerly as the 'Match Lake', the Little Warren has been coming on leaps and bounds over the years and is the perfect lake to spend a days pleasure angling. At approximately 2.5 acres in size, it's depths range from 4-9ft with plenty of swims to chose from (31 in total).
The lake has carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and pike of specimen sizes and also provides the perfect environment for growing on carp to be transferred to the Main Lake when big enough.
The Little Warren requires a full or associate membership to fish.
